How the Alternate Address feature helps you send Certified Mail from your home on days you are not working from the office

With many of our clients now working from home two or three days a week it means preparing and mailing work-related Certified Mail letters from a home address, which is often in a different Zip Code than the office. The new Add Alternate Address field on the Create Cover Sheets & Labels screen signals to the USPS that you are mailing from an “alternate address,” and ensures the USPS will accept the business address as the Return Address when it comes to Proof of Acceptance, even when mailed from a different ZIP Code.
